Enjoy a free outdoor activity - from archery to axe throwing - when you book a stay at BrackenXcapes this year. We've partnered with outdoor events company Into The Forest to offer exciting activities on our nine-acre glamping site and are including one free session per group booking on a weekend stay at our Fern Cottage, Bracken Heights Lodge or our glamping pods in 2025.

Stay and Play offer - Free outdoor activity when you stay at BrackenXcapes
So, how does our Stay and Play offer work? Simply book a weekend stay at BrackenXcapes and we'll include a free one-hour outdoor activity for one guest. Other guests can join in from just £20 per session. You can choose from:
Archery
Axe throwing
Crossbows
Air-rifle shooting
If you want to know more about the exciting activities we offer, then check out our activities page.
To be eligible, you'll need to book a weekend stay at either:
The Fern Cottage: Our five-person holiday cottage has been recently converted and has two bedrooms, a kitchen-diner and a large living room. Outside, enjoy a Tuff Spas hot tub in an enclosed private garden.
Glamping pods: We have three luxurious glamping pods with private kitchenettes and outdoor areas. Our glamping pods sleep two or three people and have heating, bathrooms, WiFi and smart TVs for a touch of luxury.
Bracken Heights Lodge: our two-storey tiny house on wheels has a wood-cabin vibe and an inflatable hot tub off the private deck. With room for up to three guests across two lofts, the tiny house benefits from underfloor heating, a full kitchen and living area with WiFi and a smart TV.
Whichever accommodation option you choose at BrackenXcapes, you can wander the grounds of our nine-acre glamping site, which features a young woodland walk, blossoming apple orchard, beehives and communal fire pit. If you want to explore further afield, we're a 10-minute walk from the village of North Muskham or 10 minutes by car from the historic market town of Newark-on-Trent.
