Fancy a night of live music, local beers and tasty food? Then join us at BrackenXcapes for our third annual Summer Shakedown, where you can party the night away on our nine-acre glamping field. We’ve put together a great line-up featuring three local rock and soul bands, plus a bar with drinks from the acclaimed Milestone Brewery and a variety of street food.
The Summer Shakedown is primarily an adult-only event, so we encourage you to leave the kids at home and enjoy a night off. However, we do welcome children aged 12 plus as long as they're supervised at all times; child tickets cost £10.

Summer Shakedown live music line-up
Come and party under our huge marquee with a live-music stage and dance floor. We’ll be hosting three huge local bands; the five-piece Street Hawks followed by Lincoln-based Soul Solution and ending with Beggars Belief, a popular rock band from Southwell. Stay tuned for more entertainment announcements in the coming months.
Street food, craft beer and sausage-eating competitions
Our friends at the Milestone Brewery in nearby Cromwell are providing the bar throughout the Summer Shakedown. Try some of their award-winning craft beers and ales brewed by their superb team, using spent grain from local farmers. There will also be a range of regional ciders and other drinks on offer.
Get ready to feast on a selection of street food available from local vendors, details to be announced soon. One thing’s for sure; our popular sausage and chilli-eating competitions will be returning for a third year. Sign-up on the day if you’re brave enough to tackle giant sausages and fiery chillies such as the infamous Carolina reaper, Scotch bonnet and dead man’s finger.
Stay the night at our glamping site
Make a night of it by staying at BrackenXcapes in one of our luxury glamping units. Choose from one of our three cosy pods; the Clover and Queen Bee sleep two, while the Kingston has a sofa bed for a third guest. Alternatively, camp in style in one of our spacious, four-person bell tents or for more privacy, book our luxurious, five-person cottage, The Fern. Want to camp in our nine-acre field?
